Digital Colorization
The age of the computer has enabled just about anyone with an imagination the ability to become an artist. Although some might believe they have little skill, this tutorial in digital colorization will show just how easy it is to develop a completed art project by relying upon only the imagination, a graphics editor, and patience.
The easiest way to begin a career in digital art or computer graphics is simply by testing the limits of your imagination. So before you begin, you will need the following:
A computer (doesn't matter what type or brand, as long as it runs)The first step is to open the image using the graphics editor, and familiarize yourself with the functions, controls, and image itself. As an example for this tutorial, I have chosen the following image:
A graphics editor (PaintShop Pro, Photoshop, Fireworks, Open Office, Gimp, etc.)
A black and white image (Can be downloaded, scanned, or sketched using a mouse or tablet)
